The Division of Personnel Management is recruiting to fill two Training and Development Specialist - Senior vacancies with the Bureau of Training and Development to provide virtual and in-person training to state employees.
This position is headquartered at the Department of Administration State Office Building, 101 East Wilson Street, Madison, WI. The position currently has the flexibility to work remotely. Time in the office will be required depending on training and operational needs. Statewide travel to provide training is required. Remote work flexibility will be discussed in more detail during the interview process.

This position is responsible for researching, developing, delivering, and evaluating training for all state agencies. Training may include topics such as team building, conflict resolution, accountability, trust, new supervisor development, leadership development, and project management. In addition, this position will use data to help determine training needs, develop and update curriculum, consult with leadership and management, and support a variety of workforce development programs. This position will collaborate with other members of the Bureau of Training and Development as well as stakeholders, agency contacts, and external representatives to provide training for the state workforce.

Starting hourly rate for the Training and Development Specialist - Senior position (schedule/range 81-03) will be $35.00 per hour - $38.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan. A 12-month probationary period is required.
