Company Name: CNZ 2 LIMITED T/A OLIVE & FIG Position: RESTAURANT MANAGER Work Type: Full Time, Permanent Location: Mount Maunganui, Bay of Plenty CNZ 2 Ltd T/A Olive & Fig, is an established Greek Restaurant located in the Centre of Mount Maunganui. We started operations almost a year ago and are currently looking for keen, enthusiastic, energetic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. This position is full-time (usually 40 hours per week with a guarantee of 30 hours per week) and permanent. Hours of work 7.00am – 12pm Monday to Sunday including Public Holidays. Hourly wage $30- 35/hour. We are a busy establishment with an interesting menu therefore good knowledge and experience is essential. Your duties will include: 1. Lead by example and motivate the team to maintain a consistent high performing work culture. 2. Network to achieve industry recognition for the venue. 3. Working with owners and management and taking on their knowledge and feedback. 4. Creating and executing training and development plans for staff – keeping them inspired and motivated to gain knowledge and learn. 5. Organize and coordinate operations 6. Recruit staff 7. Maintain high levels of customer service 8. Develop and direct staff 9. Menu development in consultation with management and chefs 10. Manage everyday operations 11. Schedule Rostering needs of the business 12. Schedule purchasing and inventory control 13. Supervise staff 14. Enforce adherence to regulations and quality standards 15. Review and prepare reports for Director 16. Participate in ‘food related’ events to push our purpose further with our reputable, strong and creative food ideas and talent within the organisation. 17. Continuously updating processes and procedures. Requirements for this role: - at least 2-3 years of relevant work experience and/or relevant tertiary qualification level 5 or above - familiarity and/or experience with European cuisines and wine - be able and willing to work in a busy establishment - be able to lead and motivate a team - be physically fit – able to stand and work - have a positive can-do attitude - reliable and keen to turn up for work We offer a great place to work and develop your skills and knowledge.
