A Facilities Coordinator to support the day to day maintenance and operations of its buildings and grounds. This hands on role works with modern facilities tools, shipping systems, and maintenance equipment to ensure a safe, functional, and professional environment. What you’ll do…
- Perform proactive and reactive maintenance of interior and exterior building spaces
- Develop and manage a preventative maintenance routine for daily and weekly tasks
- Complete light maintenance including painting, patching, minor plumbing repairs, and changing light fixtures
- Coordinate and oversee vendors for building repairs, maintenance, and outsourced projects
- Respond to employee requests for facilities support and assistance
- Maintain grounds including mowing, trimming, and snow removal during winter months
- Monitor and adjust HVAC systems and schedule required inspections and servicing
- Receive, log, and distribute shipments at the loading dock using appropriate equipment
- Sort, prepare, and ship daily mail and UPS packages using WorldShip and CampusShip software
- Maintain mailroom, loading dock, and storage organization
- Perform courier duties using a company vehicle for local and occasional out of state deliveries
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly facilities checklists
- Safely handle and transport sealed confidential materials as required
What you’ll bring…
We have every state of the art tool and equipment you will need.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of experience in facilities, maintenance, construction, or shipping and receiving
- Hands on experience with building maintenance, basic plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs
- Ability to work independently and anticipate maintenance needs before issues arise
- Strong oral communication skills and a service oriented mindset
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and internet based tools
- UPS shipping experience preferred
- Ability to read basic floor plans or blueprints
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Comfort working on site full time with on call or off hours support as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, use pallet jacks, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions
- Reliability, strong work ethic, and a team first attitude
Salary Range for this role is $47,008-$63,606 per year
