Control Desk Attendants are the first point of contact for Campus Recreation & Wellness. This position focuses on customer service, front-desk operations, and supporting a welcoming and safe facility environment. Attendants work alongside student supervisors and professional staff and play an important role in daily facility operations.

This position is ideal for those looking for a job with flexible scheduling, consistent hours, and opportunities for growth.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet patrons and provide friendly, professional customer service
  • Monitor the control desk area and support operations at the main entrance.
  • Manage towel service and equipment checkout/return
  • Answer phone calls and respond to general questions about facilities, programs, and services
  • Maintain a clean and organized desk area and complete light housekeeping duties
  • Support building emergency action procedures (EAP) as directed by supervisors

Job Requirements:
  • 16 years of age or older
  • American Red Cross CPR/AED (Adult, Child, Infant) and First Aid Certification or willingness to get certified by department upon hire

Hourly Rate: $9.00
