Front of house

NSMD Markoski Ltd T/A Due Amici, is located in Manly, Whangaparaoa, Auckland. Due Amici is a well-established business that has been in operation for over 5 years. We are currently looking for keen, enthusiastic, energetic and experienced Front of House (FOH/Waiters/Waitresses) to join our small, friendly team. Your role will be assisting our awesome team in a day-to-day running and to ensure delivering of great service. These positions are full-time (usually 35 -42 hours per week with a guarantee of 30 hours per week) and permanent. Hours of work 2.30pm – 9.30pm Tuesday to Sunday including Weekends and Public Holidays. Hourly wage $28/hour, depending on the experience and shown capabilities on the interview. We are a busy establishment with an interesting menu therefore good knowledge and experience is essential. Your duties will include: Setting and arranging tables Greeting patrons and presenting and explaining menu items and beverage lists to customers Taking food and drink orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff Delivering orders to customers Refilling customer drink orders throughout the meal, opening bottles and pouring beverages Entering each item ordered into restaurant register system Delivering bills to customers and accepting payments Attending scheduled team or other meetings Following all relevant health and safety rules and regulations Observing the principles of safe food handling and service Requirements for this role: at least 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience familiarity and/or experience with Italian/European cuisines be able and willing to work in a busy establishment be able to follow health and safety measures at work be physically fit – able to stand and work/move around have a positive can-do attitude reliable and keen to turn up for work clean/no criminal record ability to pass a drug test We offer competitive wage and a great friendly team environment to work in.
