Telehandler operators

* Opportunity to work on a large scale renewables project * $36.00 per hour * 9 month project We are looking for a **Telehandler** **Operator** to assist with the initial mobilisation and logistics of a major solar farm located in the Taupo region. It will be one of the largest solar farms in NZ once completed. The telehandler operations will include using forks mainly to move solar equipment around the farm. When there is no operating to do, you will be required to **labour** at times - labour includes: opening boxes, unpacking equipment, cleaning rubbish and other general labour tasks. **Experience operating a telehandler confidently is a minimum requirement.** **What you'll get:** * *$36.00 per hour* * 9-month project * Opportunity to work on a large-scale renewables project * Monday - Saturday ~ 6/7am start usually working 10-hour shifts **Non-negotiable requirements:** * Proven experience operating telehandler * WTR endorsement with a full class 1 drivers' licence * Must be comfortable getting off the machine to help with labour * Your own transport to get yourself to the pick-up point in **Taupo** * Pass a pre-employment drugs test and be prepared for regular alcohol breath testing **Preferable/ideal requirements:** * Ideally, experienced in using fork and other telehandler attachments * Some experience working on a solar farm If this is something you're interested in being a part of, and you meet the non-negotiable requirements, **apply today** or send me your CV with your contact details to **jonathan.beattie@hays.net.nz**
