Hi! I am looking for a team player to join our team at our local Baking Company in Braintree, MA, as a Bakery Dough Mixer. If you enjoy an early start to your day and want to be part of a great local bakery, we would love to hear from you!

Here are the details for the position:

  • Location: We are hiring for our bakery located in Braintree, Massachusetts.

  • Pay: The starting pay for this role is between $21 and $22 per hour.

  • Hours: This is a full-time job (40 hours a week) with 8-hour shifts.

  • Schedule: Shifts start early (between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m.) and include weekends.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation: Operate all equipment safely and maintain the production schedule for various dough types and sizes.

  • Formula Adherence: Strictly follow shop formulas for ingredients, mixing times, temperatures, and sizes. Accurately scale ingredients and manage flour/water meters and refrigeration units.

  • Quality Control: Verify dough "feel" and temperature before discharge. Alert the supervisor immediately if the temperature deviates from specifications.

  • Inventory Management: Refill ingredient containers using the First-In-First-Out method. Supply dusting flour as needed for production.

  • Communication & Maintenance: Promptly report any errors to the supervisor. Maintain a clean workspace and perform other duties to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Education & Skills: High School Diploma or GED required. Must have basic oral/written communication skills and math aptitude.

  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and work effectively within a team.

Work Environment

  • Schedule: Full-time. early morning, weekend, and overtime shifts to meet production deadlines.

  • Environment: Constant exposure to varied noise levels.
