Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and reliable Stock Room Associate to join our Logistics team. As the Stock Room Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate distribution of parts and materials to production areas, contributing directly to operational efficiency and product quality.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Education, Training, Skills and Licenses

  • Previous experience with stockroom processes such as picking orders and inventory counts is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to read and understand requirements on orders.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be comfortable working on elevated platform.
  • Forklift certification is at Company's discretion.

Essential Functions

  • Read and understand requirements on orders.
  • Pull and count parts from assigned locations with barcode scanning device and correctly document on orders.
  • Verify stock for shortages and defective products.
  • Ensure that work centers have sufficient quantity of parts to completely assemble products.
  • Good attendance is required for this position.
  • Safety sensitive position.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Stockroom Supervisor

  • Other stockroom equipment

Work Environment

This job operates in a manufacturing environment with no air conditioning and loud machine noises. Employees are required to wear safety glasses at all times.

The employee is regularly required to stand in one spot for long periods at a time, walk, use fingers and hands to feel, handle, grasp or manipulate objects, tools or controls, reach with arms above, level with, or below shoulder; the employee is frequently required to bend and twist at the neck and waist, climb, squat, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, push, pull, lift or move up to 40 pounds; employee is occasionally required to sit, talk or hear. Specific vision abilities include close, distant, peripheral depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
