Part-time Math Coach & Content Developer with ENL Background - SIFE & Newcomer English Language Learner (ELL) Focus; Pre-Algebra Focus.
Part-time Hybrid: 19-25 hours per week through June 30, 2026 with potential for an ongoing half-time position starting July 1, pending funding.
Must be able to travel within New York State.
Bridges to Academic Success (Bridges) is a program that provides educational services and advocates for newcomer students who enter US schools with limited academic skills, including low levels of literacy in their home languages. Bridges supports schools, teachers, and students by helping to accelerate language, literacy, and content area learning through special school programming, curricula, and professional development for educators.
The Coach and Content Developer is responsible for a variety of projects including
Qualified candidates will have prior experience in adult learning, training and facilitation, professional learning, and coaching for teachers in the field, either at the school or district level.
Additional required skills include an ability to write and review curricular lessons in collaboration with additional curriculum developers, for SIFE and newcomer multilingual learners and formatting to support the Curriculum Lead on this project.
The Math Content Developer & Coach will have experience in math instruction and curriculum design in U.S. schools. In addition, candidates will have experience designing curriculum and lessons targeted to adolescent English language learners.
Although the position is mostly remote, travel to schools is required throughout the school year to work with teachers.
