We are seeking a Residential Construction Estimator to help support our continued growth through accurate pricing, organized preconstruction planning, and professional client interaction.

Position Summary

The Residential Construction Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate project budgets, coordinating trade partner visits, collecting pricing, supporting preconstruction planning, and assisting the Project Developer with identifying project scope, cost, and value. This role works closely with Ownership, Project Developer, Trade Partners, Vendors, Project Managers, and Clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for remodeling, renovation, and addition projects
• Review plans, specifications, and site conditions
• Perform takeoffs and quantity calculations
• Solicit and compare subcontractor/vendor pricing
• Build proposals, budgets, and scope summaries
• Identify cost risks, missing scope items, and value-engineering opportunities
• Assist with client meetings and preconstruction discussions
• Support handoff from estimating to production team
• Maintain estimating templates, pricing databases, and cost history
• Help improve systems and processes as the company grows

Qualifications

• Experience in residential construction estimating, project management, carpentry, or related field
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods and materials
• Ability to read plans and visualize project scope
• Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
• Strong communication and relationship skills
• Proficient with spreadsheets, estimating software, and basic technology tools
• Self-starter with a growth mindset

Preferred Experience

• Remodeling or custom home experience
• Field construction experience
• Client-facing sales or consultation experience
• Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and change orders

Pay: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
