Hamilton Blast and Paint is a long-standing industrial blasting and painting company based in Hamilton, Waikato. We are a privately owned family company that is firmly established. This is primarily a workshop-based position in Melville, Hamilton with some off-site work available on occasion. To be successful in this position we envisage you to: • Be a self-starter, motivated, hardworking and reliable with a commitment to attendance • Be able to work independently as well as part of a team • Have a great attitude and work ethic • Be keen to learn and keep improving • Have two references from previous employers • Be able to pass pre-employment drug testing • Ideally be mechanically minded and able to make adjustments/minor repairs and maintain spray equipment. Key tasks and responsibilities: • Paint in a timely manner to the required specification using WFT gauges • Accurate completion of daily timesheets which record job numbers and the specific time • Maintain and clean equipment/machinery used in the workshop • Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines and company policies. We believe in remunerating our people fairly for their valued contribution and this will be determined based on experience. This is a full-time position with a requirement to do occasional weekend work.
