BuildLink Selwyn Customer Service Trade - Leeston Based - Competitive Hourly Rate - Friendly Team Environment Become part of a Great Team BuildLink Selwyn, is a locally owned, Building Supply Merchant, based in Leeston, Christchurch, and specializes in the supply of timber, house building materials and farm sheds. They are ideally placed to assist customers with all their building requirements, whether it be Trades people, DIY or for local farm projects. The role will require a person who has good communication skills (both written and verbal)and has a willingness to learn. Having a knowledge of timber and Building Supplies would be a distinct advantage as would a current Forklift Licence. However, my client is willing to train the successful applicant. A full drivers licence is essential as the role encompasses wholesale and retail delivery. This Role would Suit an Applicant who: * Enjoys being physically active and has a willingness to learn * Enjoys working outdoors * Enjoys interacting and building professional relationships with their customers and stakeholders alike. * Is a quick learner with a hands-on practical approach, and a high attention to detail * Is motivated to complete tasks efficiently, accurately and above all safely Looking for a New Challenge Prerequisite skills and personal attributes for this role include: * The ability to deliver high quality customer service, establishing customer requirements, and providing product recommendations and advice. * A friendly, helpful attitude and the ability to work well under pressure * Loading and unloading incoming supplies and customers vehicles * Picking and packing customer orders ready for delivery or collection * Delivering building materials and supplies (using a Ute and trailer) to building sites * Ability to continually organise and prioritise your day The successful applicant will enjoy an excellent working environment and wagecommensurate with experience. Living locally would be a distinct advantage.
