Garage Door Service Technician & Sales Consultant

Location: Knoxville, TN (Serving Knox County & the Greater East Tennessee Area) Compensation: Commission-Based | Target Earnings: $35.00 – $75.00+ per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Service Technician & Sales Representative to join our expanding team in Knoxville. This is a dual-function role designed for high-performing individuals who possess both technical mechanical skills and a professional sales aptitude.

As a field representative, you will be responsible for performing on-site diagnostics, presenting comprehensive repair or replacement solutions to clients, and executing the technical work during the same visit.

Primary Responsibilities

• On-Site Consultation: Conduct thorough inspections of residential garage door and gate systems to identify malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Strategic Sales: Educate homeowners on available solutions and upgrades, providing transparent pricing and professional recommendations to close the sale on-location.
• Technical Execution: Perform high-quality repairs and installations immediately following the sales process.
• Customer Excellence: Represent the brand with professionalism, ensuring a premium service experience for every East Tennessee client.

Candidate Requirements

• Communication: Exceptional verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Licensing: Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Experience: Prior experience in garage door/gate services or home improvement trades is preferred, though we provide comprehensive training for high-potential candidates.
• Logistics: Ownership of a reliable work vehicle (Truck or Van) is highly advantageous.
• Reliability: Strong work ethic and commitment to servicing our Knoxville-area routes consistently.
