Senior Help Desk Technician

Madison Mortgage Services Inc. is a high volume mortgage brokerage dedicated to empowering top-producing loan officers.

We are seeking an on-site Senior Help Desk Tech for our Garden City, NY headquarters.

With a focus on innovative, AI-powered technology and a diverse network of lenders, we foster an environment where talent is nurtured and growth is accelerated. Our mission is to help our team members double their production in just 90 days by providing the tools and support they need to succeed.

What You Will Do

• Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across multiple operating systems
• Troubleshoot software problems related to Microsoft Office, enterprise applications, and custom tools
• Manage computer hardware including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
• Configure and maintain network components such as LANs (Local Area Networks), VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), firewalls, DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, and networking equipment.
• Support Active Directory management, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Windows Server environments, and servers to streamline user access and security policies.
• Collaborate with the IT team on infrastructure projects involving network administration, security protocols, and system upgrades to improve overall operational efficiency.

What We Need From You

• Proven experience in technical support roles with strong troubleshooting skills in diverse IT environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server environments
• Proficiency in managing computer hardware components and operating systems such as Windows 10/11 and macOS.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
• Strong analysis skills to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions efficiently.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
