Operations Engineer

job summary:
Distributer in St. Louis is seeking an Operations Engineer to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required) and previous experience with process engineering, layout and continuous improvement in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. This position will focus on improving existing facility efficiency and planning new facilities.

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

responsibilities:

• Work with Senior leadership to improve internal processes and efficiency of 4 existing locations
  
  
• Analyze data to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and improve overall facility performance and cost structure
  
  
• Work with cross functional teams to implement system improvements
  
  
• Standardize best practices for all locations
  
  
• Analyze data to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and improve overall facility performance and cost structure

Requirements:

• B.S. in Engineering required
  
  
• Previous continuous improvement, industrial or manufacturing engineering experience
  
  
• Solid analytical and problem solving skills
  
  
• Willingness to travel about 25% or less to other facility locations
