PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Join BBC Studios as an Senior Account Executive – Digital Ad Sales, responsible for managing and growing revenue across BBC Studios’ Kids & Family portfolio and broader digital ecosystem.

You will leverage the strength of BBC brands and IP to deliver creative advertising solutions across YouTube and social, with a focus on CPG, Toy, and Retail categories.

This role plays a critical part in driving growth through culturally relevant content and high-impact audience engagement. This position reports into the Head of Social Advertising.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT

  • Manage and grow revenue across BBC Studios’ digital portfolio, with a focus on BBC Kids high-impact IP, specifically Bluey.
  • Drive category growth across CPG, Toy, and Retail advertisers
  • Cultivate strong agency and client relationships to drive renewals and new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality campaign delivery and client satisfaction

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • 4–7+ years of direct digital ad sales experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a closing role
  • Demonstrated success driving revenue growth, building pipeline, and converting new business
  • Experience working within or selling into CPG, Toy, and/or Retail categories
  • Strong understanding of YouTube and social media platforms as core advertising channels
  • Familiarity with kids, family, or brand-safe content environments is highly preferred Proven ability to manage a high volume of client activity and maintain a healthy pipeline

DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

  • Experience within a premium publisher or media owner environment
  • Familiarity with social platforms and campaigns
  • Exposure to tools such as Google Ad Manager, Operative.One, Salesforce, or similar platforms
  • Comfort selling both scaled media and custom programs

COMPENSATION

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $130,000–$140,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge, and experience. This range does not include bonus compensation or other benefits that an individual is eligible for in this role.

The actual base salary offered depends on the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and geographic location of the position.
