is seeking qualified applicants for the

following position:

Chief Probation Officer

Provides leadership and direction to all employees in Adult and Juvenile Probation in fulfilling the mission of the Court. Plans, organizes, coordinates, and administers the operations, functions, and activities of Adult and Juvenile Probation.

Qualifications: Completion of a Master’s degree program at an accredited college or university with major course work in social or behavioral science, law enforcement or a related field. Five (5) years of professional administrative and/or program management which shall have included responsibility for program development, implementation, achievement of program goals, and supervision of staff. Previous work experience shall include the investigation and supervision of cases or any other equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience. Comprehensive and thorough knowledge of evidenced based practices and principles of administration, programming, criminology, and penology. Previous management experience in Probation preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must maintain a valid driver’s license and have a Firearm certification.
