This Data Use and Action Contractor position will serve as a continuous improvement partner and facilitator within the Office of Special Education (OSE), supporting Intermediate School Districts (ISDs) and member districts in strengthening systems of general supervision to improve student outcomes related to the provision of a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) relative to complex Data Use and Action processes related to the general supervision system grant. These responsibilities include data verification, communications with the Center for Education Performance and Information, and with affected districts. In addition, the contractor impacts district and classroom practice in order to improve outcomes for students with disabilities. In addition, the contractor supports the preparation and use of data reports for monitoring, technical assistance, and determinations as tools for learning and continuous improvement.
The analyst works independently under the direction of the Departmental Specialist 13, performing duties and responsibilities related to supporting ISDs across multiple phases of the OSE’s six-year improvement cycle through routine use of the Data Use and Action process.
