Job Duties:

The Academic Program & Marketing Coordinator supports the development, administration, promotion, and continuous improvement of SAP University Competence Center (UCC) program. This position combines academic program administration with marketing, branding, and digital engagement responsibilities. The role manages daily operations, coordinates events and workshops, and drives the UCC’s marketing presence across LinkedIn, partner organizations (ASUG, SAPNAAC, SAP), and the UCC website. The coordinator ensures effective communication, brand consistency, and strong engagement with faculty, students, customers, and SAP ecosystem partners.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Identifies program, needs, contributes to the development of unit workflows, schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, events, and interviews
  • Coordinates program components and evaluates program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement
  • May supervise the day to day activities of one or more academic programs and resolves issues exercising discretion to meet unit goals.
  • Utilizes independent judgement regarding development, implementation, promotion, and evaluation for one or more academic programs, initiatives, or events

Duties & Responsibilities – Program Administration & Operations

  • Prepare and transmit invoices to customers.
  • Process payments and perform dunning for late payments .
  • Manage customer contracting processes.
  • Respond to administrative requests from the director and UCC staff.
  • Assist in planning and executing faculty workshops and conferences.
  • Organize SAP UCC events, including catering, parking, and workshop materials.
  • Identify program needs, contribute to workflow improvements, and secure resources for events, meetings, and interviews.
  • Coordinate program components, assess effectiveness, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain a tracking system for UCC maintenance contracts, including deadlines and coverage details.
  • Manage speakers and logistics for SAP UCC workshops.
  • Work with legal and purchasing to ensure required documentation, agreements, and procurement processes are completed in a timely manner .

Duties & Responsibilities – Marketing, Branding & Communications

  • Lead the UCC’s social media strategy, including planning, creating, and publishing content on LinkedIn.
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote UCC programs, workshops, faculty training, and student achievements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for marketing coordination with ASUG, SAPNAAC, and SAP for events, communications, and joint announcements.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all UCC communications, materials, and digital assets.
  • Design marketing collateral, digital graphics, presentation templates, and promotional materials.
  • Manage updates to the SAP UCC Milwaukee website with accurate , timely content.
  • Capture and curate photography, videos, and other media for marketing, promotion, and archival use.
  • Support UCC presence at SAP ecosystem events (ASUG conferences, SAP Academic Community events, etc.).
  • Track marketing metrics (engagement, impressions, campaign performance) and provide periodic reports.
  • Responsible for the selection and purchasing of branded merchandise for the center.
  • Focus on customer retention by identifying customers with low system utilization or those at risk of disengagement, and coordinate proactive communication or support strategies to re-engage them.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least one year of experience working in a professional administrative support role
  • Event planning and/or marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with billing
  • Experience providing customer service, including responding to both routine and complex inquiries
  • Excellent communication skills, as evidenced by application materials and interviews
