Full Job Description:
KidzPointe Academy is hiring energetic, reliable, and engaging Summer Camp Counselors for our STEAM-based summer camp, Camp Kaboom!

This is the perfect opportunity for candidates interested in childcare, education, early childhood development, teaching, or summer camp jobs. Our program includes hands-on STEM/STEAM activities, arts and crafts, outdoor play, team-building games, and field trips—making every day exciting and different.

We’re looking for team members who are positive, active, and passionate about working with children in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage children in STEAM/STEM activities, educational games, and creative play
• Support daily camp operations and assist with lesson plans and activity coordination
• Ensure a safe, structured, and nurturing childcare environment
• Lead and participate in outdoor activities, group games, and field trips
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and camp space
• Work collaboratively with team members and leadership
• Comfortable with assisting in self-care (accidents, changing clothes, tying shoes, etc)

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Experience in childcare, daycare, preschool, teaching, nannying, or camp counseling preferred
• Background in education, early childhood education, psychology, or related fields is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• High energy, dependable, and patient
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday (daytime hours)
• No nights or weekends
