Description of
JobColorado State University Pueblo is seeking applications for our Military Education Support Specialist (.75
FTE)
This role serves as a vital connection point between the university and the military community, supporting student success and
program operations at the Fort Carson Education Center. The Military Education Support Specialist provides comprehensive guidance to
active-duty service members, veterans, and other learners by assisting with admissions, financial aid, registration, and tuition assistance
processes. This position ensures accurate coordination of military Tuition Assistance (TA) benefits, maintains compliance across military
branch portals, and supports students in progressing from initial enrollment through degree completion.
In addition to student
support, this role contributes to recruitment and outreach efforts by building strong relationships with military, veteran, and civilian
communities. It partners across campus to promote programs, coordinate events, and expand access to educational opportunities. The position
also plays a key role in supporting faculty and operations on-site, ensuring classes are equipped for success and that students, staff, and
instructors have the resources they need. This is a dynamic, mission-driven role ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative
environment and is passionate about serving those connected to the military.

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited
institution
- Eligibility to secure and retain Fort Carson installation access credentials for unescorted entry, subject to required
background screening
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and enterprise information systems
- Demonstrated ability
to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated project management skills
