Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assess damage caused by water, fire, mold, and other disasters, and develop effective restoration plans.
  • Lead a team of technicians and oversee all aspects of disaster restoration projects from start to finish.
  • Provide technical expertise in the safe and efficient operation of restoration equipment and tools.
  • Communicate with clients and management to ensure proper understanding of project scope and progress.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and assessments to identify potential hazards and develop appropriate safety measures.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards to deliver exceptional results within established parameters.
  • Train and mentor technicians on restoration techniques, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records, including project documentation, equipment inventory, and job progress reports.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulations, and technologies to continually improve service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Strong technical skills in operating restoration equipment, such as air movers, dehumidifiers, extractors, and thermal imaging cameras.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, team members, and management.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift heavy equipment as required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • IICRC certifications (Water Damage Restoration, Fire and Smoke Restoration, Mold Remediation, etc.) preferred.
  • Asbestos abatement certification, lead certification, or similar preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of water damage mitigation, fire and smoke restoration, mold remediation, and structural drying preferred.
  • Bilingual skills preferred.

This role does have the ability to turn into a Lead Technician position quickly, even with minimal experience, if you are a motivated and hard-working individual.
