Wildlife Technician/Sales Representative

Job Description

The Wildlife Technician at Frontier Trapper will be responsible for delivering high-quality wildlife control services, inspecting attic spaces to confirm critter activity . This role includes trapping, exclusion, remediation, and repair work for nuisance animals. The technician must be skilled in identifying wildlife issues, completing structural repairs, and providing safe, effective removal techniques while maintaining professionalism and strong customer communication.

What Success Looks Like

  • Wildlife issues are resolved fully through proper trapping, exclusion and repair, and attic remediation, all while preventing the critters from returning .
  • Jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and with strong attention to detail across all service types.
  • Customers trust the technician’s expertise and refer Frontier Trapper to others.
  • Equipment, vehicles, and workspaces are clean, organized, and ready for daily operations. Daily vehicle checks for equipment and safety.

Objectives

  • Inspect properties for wildlife entry points, nesting areas, and damage, developing effective removal and exclusion plans.
  • Perform trapping, removal, and relocation of nuisance wildlife in compliance with regulations and company standards.
  • Complete exclusion and repair work, including sealing entry points, covering vents, repairing soffits, and addressing structural damage.
  • Conduct attic and crawl space work, including sanitation, cleanup, and restoration from wildlife contamination.
  • Operate ladders while completing work on roofs, multi-story homes, and elevated structures.
  • Maintain traps, tools, and equipment to ensure proper function and safe operation at all times.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, explaining findings, services performed, and preventative recommendations.
  • Document all work thoroughly in Evolve, including notes, photos, and completed services.
  • Maintain clean, organized trucks and ensure all tools and materials are properly stored and job-ready.
  • Work efficiently to complete all scheduled routes while maintaining high-quality service standards.

Education and Experience

Initial 90-Day Onboarding Period
The first 90 days serve as a mutual evaluation period to ensure culture, performance, and technical alignment. Both parties assess fit, commitment, and consistency.

Licensing and Certification Requirements
Must obtain Structural Pest Control licensing within 90 days. Wildlife control certifications and any required state licensing must be obtained and maintained. Ongoing training is required and supported by Rock Pest Control.

Experience
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in pest control, wildlife control, construction, or a related field preferred. Experience with trapping, exclusion work, or general repairs is highly valued.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift and carry 50–75 lbs regularly.
Must be comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and tight or contaminated environments.
Must be able to climb ladders up to two to three stories and operate lifts safely.
Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, including hot attic conditions.
Must be capable of standing, walking, climbing, and performing physical labor for extended periods.
