Job Description
Title of Position: Home Teacher
Grade Kindergarten through Grade Six student - the equivalent of 10 hours per week
Grade Seven through Grade Twelve student - the equivalent of 15 hour per week

Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Next Generation Learning Standards and NY state assessments
- The ability and commitment to use technology as an instructional tool
- Uncompromising commitment to continuous improvement
- Broad experience with a variety of instructional techniques
- Ability to differentiate instruction for accelerated and delayed learners
- Evidence of strong classroom management skills with age appropriate experiences
- Flexibility, enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to develop programs and collaborate with and support other staff
- Loyalty and evidence of being a team player
- Commitment to equity and inclusion of all members of the school community
Requirements: New York State teaching certification
Position Available: ASAP
Salary: $35.10 per hour
