Event Host & Marketing Assistant (Part-Time) – Howl at the Moon Indianapolis

Pay: $16/hour + commission
Hours: ~20 hours/week
Schedule: Thursday–Saturday nights + one flexible weekday shift

Howl at the Moon is hiring an Event Host & Marketing Assistant to support weekend operations and help grow our guest base. This is an entry-level, part-time role that combines guest interaction, light marketing, and basic admin work.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet and check in guests for parties and table reservations
  • Interact with guests to generate sign-ups for our Happy Hour program
  • Distribute referral passes and promote future visits
  • Capture photo and video content for social media (Instagram Stories)
  • Maintain in-house promotional displays
  • Enter leads into a spreadsheet during a weekly office shift
  • Visit nearby hotels and businesses to distribute referral passes

What We’re Looking For

  • Comfortable talking to new people and working in a busy environment
  • Reliable and able to work late-night shifts on weekends
  • Organized and able to follow simple systems
  • Familiar with social media platforms (especially Instagram)
  • Positive attitude and able to stay engaged throughout a shift
  • Hospitality or customer-facing experience is a plus, not required

Compensation

  • $16/hour
  • Additional commission earned from leads generated and referral passes redeemed
  • High performers can earn up to an additional $500/month in commissions

Schedule Details

  • Thursday: Evening
  • Friday: Evening
  • Saturday: Evening
  • One weekday shift for admin and outreach
