JV Girls Golf Coach

Position: Lakeshore High School JV Girls Golf Coach

Location: Lakeshore High School, Lakeshore Public Schools, Stevensville, MI 49127

Work Schedule: Early August – October (approximate)

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated organizational skills, knowledge, experience, preparation, and aptitude in the relevant sport appropriate to the level of the position
• Proven ability to work with and motivate students and adults
• Availability to meet all time commitments required by the position
• Current certification in CPR and First Aid
• MHSAA CAP Level 1 or Level 2 certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the assigned athletic program, including but not limited to player personnel, practice planning, equipment management, and supervision during practices, games, travel, and team activities
• Maintain knowledge of and enforce all school, district, league, and MHSAA rules and policies
• Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, officials, fellow coaches, administrators, and community members
• Prioritize the safety and well-being of all student-athletes in practices and competitions
• Follow direction from the Athletic Director and school administration
• Model professionalism and serve as a positive role model in behavior, communication, and conduct

Reports to: Athletic Director

Beginning Date: Early August
