Job Title: Senior TLS / Encryption & PKI Engineer

Location: 100% Remote

Description: Seeking a senior-level TLS / Encryption & PKI Engineer to lead the encryption and certificate management workstream across a large-scale AWS and Google Cloud Platform environment. This role will be responsible for assessing current-state encryption posture, defining target-state PKI architecture, and guiding remediation strategy across applications, services, and platforms. The individual will lead efforts around TLS/mTLS enforcement, certificate lifecycle management (issuance, rotation, revocation), and centralized certificate authority design. They will also identify gaps across Kubernetes, microservices, and self-hosted platforms (e.g., MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch), and translate discovery findings into a structured remediation roadmap. This role will provide technical leadership to supporting engineers, ensuring alignment to enterprise security standards and scalable implementation approaches.
