Sales Consultant / Product Specialist – TradeZone Taupo Do you have a passion for tools? Can you weld, or do you spend your weekends fixing your own car? About the Role At TradeZone Taupo, we aren’t just "order takers"—we are problem solvers for our local engineering, automotive, and construction legends. You’ll be the face of Taupo’s biggest supplier of Tools, Powertools, Welding Equipment, Engineering Supplies, and Fastenings. Your day-to-day will involve: Customer Excellence: Serving our trade and DIY customers at the sales counter, via email, and over the phone. Expert Advice: Helping customers navigate our massive range of hand tools, power tools, and consumables. Operations: Taking orders, providing professional quotations, and packing gear ready for dispatch. Relationship Building: Getting to know our regulars and ensuring they have exactly what they need. Ownership: Ordering from our suppliers and maintaining your very own product group within the store. About You We are looking for someone who "speaks the language" of our customers. Technical Knowledge: A genuine interest in tools and machinery (if you can weld or turn a wrench, you're halfway there!). People Person: You are outgoing and confident building relationships. Organised: You can manage quotes, orders, and stock with high attention to detail. Team Player: You’re happy to jump in and pack an order or help a mate when things get busy.
