This position supports the Screening & Surveillance Section, including newborn screening and Special Health Care Needs programs, by assisting with daily office and program tasks. Responsibilities include preparing and mailing materials, entering and updating data, organizing files, and providing general team and phone support with guidance and training. The role works closely with team members to complete both routine and assigned tasks and may assist with community events as needed. Position Summary & Responsibilities

The position (K0244634)
Support the section by assisting with daily work across multiple programs. Complete regular tasks and additional tasks as assigned. Duties may include preparing and mailing letters to parents and community partners and medical facilities. Assisting with mail and sending out materials as needed. Assist with preparing and sending specialized notification to families that are sensitive in nature including PHI & HIPAA compliant information. Enter and update information in Excel spreadsheets and other computer systems to help maintain accurate records. May assist with or participate in community events. Assist with organizing digital files, updating information, and supporting general team tasks. Training and support will be provided as needed.
Support the S&S Supports Manager and team members with daily office tasks. Responsibilities may include uploading files to the shared H drive and completing other assigned tasks. Provide phone support as needed, including answering calls, taking messages, and making calls, with guidance and training provided. Work closely with team members, follow instructions, and ask questions as needed to complete tasks accurately.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Handle information in a careful and private manner, including medical information, following privacy guidelines (such as HIPAA). Participate in required trainings, including office safety and additional trainings from the section, IT, or Human Resources. Follow workplace guidelines to support a safe and respectful work environment.
