Graduate Recruitment Coordinator

The Graduate Recruitment Coordinator serves as a key member of the Brescia University Graduate Admissions team, responsible for strategically recruiting prospective graduate students and building community and employer relationships that advance enrollment goals across all graduate programs. This position combines direct student recruitment with community outreach, employer partnership development, admissions counseling, and CRM-based communication management.

Candidates must have the ability to travel within our marketing area and load and unload promotional material, displays and other equipment. The position may require irregular work hours, including evenings and weekends.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree; master’s preferred
  • 2 years of professional experience in higher education, student services, admissions, recruitment, sales, marketing, public relations or other related areas.
  • Demonstrated experience in public speaking and making professional presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Experience using CRM or client management system to manage communications, workflows, and activity tracking
  • Valid driver’s license and must be insurable by Brescia University
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including public speaking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, social media and other programs related to recruitment

Responsibilities are, but are not limited to:

  • Actively recruit prospective graduate students through in-person meetings, phone calls, targeted email campaigns, and text message outreach, managing all interactions through Brescia’s CRM system (Slate).
  • Initiate and maintain timely, personalized follow-up communications with prospective students at all stages of the recruitment funnel.
  • Represent Brescia University at local, regional, and virtual recruitment events, including graduate fairs, information sessions, employer site visits, and professional organization meetings.
  • Develop and deliver engaging presentations about Brescia’s graduate programs to a wide range of audiences including prospective students, employers, community organizations, professional associations, and workforce development professionals.
  • Attend community events, civic meetings, chamber functions, and professional networking opportunities on behalf of the Graduate Admissions office to build brand awareness and generate prospective student interest.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group admissions counseling with prospective applicants, providing clear guidance on program options, admissions requirements, application timelines, financial aid, and career outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relations with regional employers, human resources managers, workforce development organizations and community partners to promote graduate programs and employer tuition reimbursement opportunities.
