Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Unarmed Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our facilities. In this energetic role, you will serve as the first line of defense, monitoring premises, managing access points, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. Your proactive presence will help prevent incidents, handle conflicts professionally, and maintain peace of mind for everyone on site. Duties

• Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity and detect suspicious behavior.
• Control access to buildings and designated areas by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Conduct regular patrols around the premises to identify hazards, unauthorized persons, or security breaches.
• Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances with conflict management techniques and escalate situations when necessary.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting findings accurately.
• Support emergency response procedures by providing first aid when needed and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services.
• Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and security logs to ensure thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and experience in conflict management.
• Basic first aid certification and CPR training are highly desirable.
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security protocols is preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.75 per hour
