About the Opportunity
RNP Regenerative Medicine is offering a highly competitive, intensive gap-year position designed specifically for an unmatched MD or DO graduate. This role provides an unparalleled opportunity to strengthen your ERAS application through high-level clinical exposure, research coordination, and direct mentorship from a nationally recognized physician leader.
You will work directly under the supervision of Roshni N. Patel, M.D., a quadruple board-certified physician in Neurology, Pain Medicine, Brain Injury Medicine, and Headache Medicine. Dr. Patel is an active leader in the medical community, currently participating in the AAN , serving as an American Brain Foundation Ambassador, and leading the foundation of the CT Neurological Society. She is also a co-founder of CereNova, an AI-based neurodegenerative diagnostic platform.
Key Responsibilities
This is an unlicensed, clinical support and research role. The coordinator will be deeply integrated into the daily operations of a complex specialty practice:
- Advanced Clinical Support: Perform detailed clinical scribing during consultations, gather comprehensive patient histories, and manage documentation in the EMR for complex cases in Pain Management, Headache, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and Regenerative Medicine.
- Research & Clinical Trials: Assist in the clinical evaluation and data coordination for NeuroStride, an AI-driven platform for the early detection of neurodegenerative diseases.
- Practice Operations: Support administrative and operational tasks for both the clinical practice and the CereNova startup environment, gaining unique insight into medical entrepreneurship.
- Patient Navigation: Draft referral letters, coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, and assist with patient education under direct physician supervision.

Qualifications
- Education: MD or DO degree required (e.g., recent medical school graduate).

- Skills: Exceptional clinical knowledge base, strong understanding of medical terminology, and proficiency in clinical documentation.
