RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE:
- Provide comprehensive care in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
- Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy, in both outpatient and hospital settings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in on-call rotation and weekend coverage as needed.
- Engage in continued professional development and education to stay current with advancements in the field of gastroenterology.
DESIRABLE QUALITIES IN A CANDIDATE:
- MD/DO degree, required
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
- Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in the state of Colorado.
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused approach to care.
- EUS and/or ERCP, nice to have.
COMPENSATION: depending on several factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
