Dates: May 11, 2026 (Setup) & May 14, 2026 (De-rig)
Pay: $250/day + $30 per diem
Type: 1099 Contractor | Event-Based

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Freelance IT Technician to support an upcoming event in Philadelphia. This role requires availability for both setup and de-rig days. You will be working alongside another technician during setup and independently assisting with pack-down.

Responsibilities

• Laptop setup and deployment
• Starlink WiFi setup and configuration
• Basic networking setup and troubleshooting
• Onsite technical support during setup and breakdown
• Equipment pack-down and inventory handling

Requirements

• Strong networking experience (required)
• Experience with Starlink setup and configuration preferred
• Proven experience in event IT support or similar environments
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation & Details

• $250 day rate + $30 per diem
• 1099 contractor role
• Biweekly payments
• Ongoing opportunities for future event work based on performance
