Company Summary

Moore Family Management provides maintenance services for three residential real estate holding companies covering 40+ units, comprised of single family and multi-unit residential apartments in Springfield and east Dayton OH. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform rental unit turns to prepare for the next tenant and perform day to day maintenance activities.

Full Job Description

As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will need to perform a variety of on-going maintenance and repairs to residential properties requiring numerous skills such as drywall, carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electric, flooring, painting, lawn care, demo/clean outs & unit turns, HVAC and many other tasks as needed, either working independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Work 30 to 40 hrs per week (predominately Mon-Fri), occasional weekend when pre-arranged.
• Inspect, repair, maintain, and improve residential properties
• Lift 50 lbs.
• Climb ladders up to 12'
• Perform all work in a detailed, thorough, and workmanlike manner.
• Receive/coordinate tasks with the task assignment system and report on work completed with description and pictures.
• Communicate and coordinate work with tenants.
• Work independently

Skills/Abilities Needed

• Focused, detail oriented and organized.
• Take pride in completing work
• Pleasant, polite and customer oriented.
• HVAC experience, certification preferred
• Must be friendly communicator with strong English skills.
• Ability to identify and solve problems, but also knows when to ask for help and advice.
• Independent worker needing minimal supervision but will work cooperatively with team.
• Other duties as required by Management.

Education / Experience / Other Requirements

• 15+ years working in one or many trades, mostly with residential handyman or remodeling
• HVAC Experience
• Possess construction tools, smartphone & vehicle
• Valid references
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for transportation
• High school or equivalent degree
• Must be able to pass background and drug test
