Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage kitchen operations, ensuring consistency and quality of all dishes.
  • Develop and introduce new menu items, keeping our offerings exciting, fresh, and seasonal.
  • Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff, ensuring proper culinary techniques and safety standards.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and food costs while maintaining profitability.
  • Coordinate kitchen scheduling to ensure smooth operations during peak times.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house team to ensure excellent customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef, Sous Chef, or in a leadership role in a busy kitchen.
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • Ability to create and implement new menu items, incorporating seasonal flavors and local ingredients.
  • Experience in managing kitchen staff, including training, coaching, and scheduling.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with front-of-house team members.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Skills:

  • Experience with Toast, 7shifts, and xtraChef preferred.
  • Proficiency in kitchen management software and POS systems.
  • Ability to manage food costs and inventory efficiently.
