Assistant Professor of Nursing
The School of Nursing at the University of South Carolina Aiken (USCA) invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Nursing, with an expected start date of August 16, 2026.
Requirements: An earned research Doctorate in Nursing (PhD) is required; candidates with a DNP will be considered. ABD will be considered with degree conferred by the time of appointment. Primary teaching responsibility in a BSN program, with an expectation of teaching in classroom, lab, and clinical settings. Online teaching may also be required. Individuals with a strong research background and experience teaching graduate courses and/or developing graduate programs in nursing are highly encouraged to apply. Individuals with experience teaching writing intensive courses are also strongly encouraged to apply. A background in medical-surgical nursing is preferred. Salary is commensurate and competitive with qualifications and teaching experience.
