Inside Sales Representative
Austin Hardwoods – located in Denver, Colorado – has been family-owned since 1979. Our facility enables us to service our customers’ individual needs, from retail to industrial. Austin Hardwoods stocks a robust inventory of hardwoods lumber, plywood, sheet stock, moulding profiles and S4S. We also provide manufacturing of treads, butcher blocks, custom S4S and custom mouldings. Our retail environment is dynamic, fast-paced, energetic, and customer-focused. We are 60+ team members strong and growing. Our mission is to be on the forefront of our industry by providing first-class products and services to our customers.
We are currently looking for a team-oriented, self-motivated Inside Sales Representative. Our proactive training program is designed to expedite your understanding of our company, products, systems, and procedures to ensure a successful and fulfilling career experience. Any experience in sales, especially within the forest products industry, is a plus.
Responsibilities:
· Provide professional and welcoming customer experience
· Deliver excellent customer service by answering questions, making product recommendations, and guiding purchasing decisions
· Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system
· Maintain product knowledge to effectively support customers and stay current on inventory
· Resolve customer concerns in a timely, respectful, and solution-focused manner
· Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor, including restocking and basic inventory support
· Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and support daily store operations in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in business preferred
· One or more years of experience in an entry-level business or sales environment preferred
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
