Field Service Manager

trak group is partnering with a unique, well-established manufacturer in Cincinnati, OH to place a Field Service Manager — a hands-on leadership role with national scope and real impact. You'll build and develop a network of field service technicians, combining technical expertise with people leadership.

Position Details

• Location: Cincinnati, OH 45202 — 100% On-Site, 1st Shift
• Employment Type: Direct Hire
• Compensation: $75,000–$80,000/year + bonus; flexibility for the right candidate

What You'll Do

• Recruit, hire, and develop field service technicians nationwide alongside senior leadership
• Design and deliver technical training programs, materials, and hands-on learning experiences for new and experienced technicians
• Facilitate OSHA-compliant safety training
• Provide real-time troubleshooting support and demonstrate diagnostic, repair, and maintenance techniques for mechanical and electrical systems
• Travel periodically to job sites to conduct quality inspections and ensure work meets standards
• Ensure accurate, timely submission of technician work reports
• Partner with Engineering and Production to stay current on new products and installation methods

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years in field service or customer-facing technical roles
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting knowledge
• Experience training and developing technicians; LMS familiarity a plus
• Confident presenting to groups and cross-functional teams
• Proficiency with field service management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office
• High sense of urgency with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach
• Willingness to travel ~25%
