Retail Sales Manager

Are you looking to take that next step up the management ladder but tired of the typical office setting? Lovers Playground is looking for a full-time Retail Store Manager to oversee the overall management of our West Burlington, IA location. You will be responsible for leading daily operations, driving sales strategies, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can motivate a team to hit performance targets while maintaining high operational standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise team of retail sales workers
• Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency
• Maintain proper inventory levels, receive shipments, and conduct inventory audits (cycle counts) to minimize loss.
• Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting
• Resolve escalated customer complaints and complex issues

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of retail management experience required
• Customer service experience is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team to meet sales goals
• Open-minded and have a professional attitude
• Strong leadership qualities
