Job Summary Kutztown University of
Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 7,500 students across its graduate and undergraduate programs. Located in a charming rural
setting in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, the University is just a 20-minute drive from the metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading,
and about an hour from the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The University seeks to hire employees with experience working with diverse
populations.
The Department of Physical Sciences at Kutztown University invites applications for a one-semester (Fall 2026),
quarter-time position to teach a cell biology technology course beginning August 2026. The course is laboratory-intensive and includes
hands-on experiments in mammalian cell culture, cell microscopy, cell transfection, and cell flow cytometry. The course will be taught in
the evening. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective
teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly/professional growth; and service.
Minimum Qualifications A minimum master's degree in cell biology or a related
field and two years of college-level teaching experience, or equivalent, are required.
Preferred
Qualifications A Ph.D. degree in cell biology or related field is preferred.
Supplemental Information Successful interview and demonstration of relevant ability are
