eLearning Training Specialist

Job Title: eLearning Developer/Instructional Designer
Location: Hybrid (Onsite Tuesday–Thursday; Remote Monday & Friday)

Overview
We are seeking a creative and technically skilled eLearning Developer to design and deliver engaging, high-quality digital learning experiences. This role combines instructional design, multimedia development, and project management to support the creation of interactive training solutions that integrate seamlessly with learning management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy interactive eLearning solutions using modern web-based technologies
• Create engaging online learning modules compatible with learning management systems (LMS)
• Apply instructional design principles to develop effective training for digital, classroom, and blended environments
• Develop multimedia content, including graphics, video, and audio elements
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear, learner-friendly content
• Test, troubleshoot, and maintain eLearning courses to ensure functionality and performance
• Evaluate training effectiveness and revise content based on feedback and performance data
• Ensure compatibility and integration with LMS platforms, intranet, and web-based systems
• Support needs assessments, program evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication
• Lead or support project management efforts related to training development initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, OR equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or electronic media design
• Experience developing interactive eLearning content in a professional environment
• Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Required Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
• Knowledge of training needs analysis and curriculum development processes
• Proficiency in graphic design and visual communication principles
• Experience with video and audio editing

Technical Skills & Tools

• Experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Lectora, Articulate, Camtasia, or Adobe Captivate
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud tools (e.g., Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, or related tools
• Understanding of eLearning standards such as SCORM or AICC
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508) is a plus

Work Environment

• Hybrid schedule with in-office collaboration three days per week
• Fast-paced, project-driven environment with multiple concurrent priorities
• Frequent collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
