Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our fantastic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with a focus on providing an exceptional shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for sales transactions
- Utilize computers to assist guests in emails, orders, etc
- Operate copy center equipment
- Handle credit card, charge account and cash transactions and ensure the cash register balances at the end of the shift
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking merchandise
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally
Skills:
- Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling procedures
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems a plus
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with a focus on building customer relationships
- Ability to upsell products based on customer needs
- Organized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize tasks efficiently
