Retail Store Sales Associate

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our fantastic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with a focus on providing an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for sales transactions
• Utilize computers to assist guests in emails, orders, etc
• Operate copy center equipment
• Handle credit card, charge account and cash transactions and ensure the cash register balances at the end of the shift
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking merchandise
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally

Skills:

• Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling procedures
• Previous retail experience preferred
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems a plus
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with a focus on building customer relationships
• Ability to upsell products based on customer needs
• Organized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize tasks efficiently
