Position Overview:
Boss Industrial, Inc. is seeking a bright and ambitious young sales professional to join our Illinois team. This role is crucial for driving domestic/international B2B sales growth, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of orders.

The ideal candidate is a fast learner that have a strong sales orientation, excellent communication skills, and an organized approach. Your primary focus will be interacting directly with our existing retailer customers (Lowe’s, Costco, Amazon, Home Depot) while autonomously driving new growth through aggressive outreach

Responsibilities

  • Strategic B2B Sales: Expand the B2B client base autonomously by identifying national & international sales opportunities and providing prospective business partners with detailed information on products, pricing, and availability. This includes cold calling, lead generation, trade shows, and professional outreach to expand our dealer network and industrial client base.
  • Account Management & Portal Oversight: Serve as the primary contact for major existing dealer accounts, managing EDI connections and vendor portals (SPS, Rithum), ensuring our products are optimized for high-volume retail while maintaining strong professional relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Order Fulfillment: Process daily orders, including order receiving, merchandise preparation, labeling, shipping, and invoicing, to ensure accurate documentation and timely delivery. Forklift experience is preferred to assist in moving equipment and maintaining a seamless fulfillment flow
  • After-Sale Customer Service: Provide general support to end-users via phone and email, efficiently addressing concerns and troubleshooting issues to ensure a positive post-purchase experience.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in sales, account management, or order fulfillment, preferably within the industrial or equipment sector.
  • Proficiency with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., Sage ) and carrier shipping platforms (Shipstation).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to manage professional dealer relationships.
  • Ability to quickly absorb and articulate detailed technical product specifications (e.g., engine type, tonnage, hydraulic components) to both dealers and end-users.
  • Detailed approach to processing complex sales orders and shipping documentation.

Preferred Qualifications (Higher Salary Bracket)

Candidates possessing the following will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferred) or a related technical field.
  • 3–5 years of proven sales experience specifically within the Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE).
  • Hands-on mechanical experience/skills (small engine repair, hydraulics, or heavy machinery maintenance) with the ability to diagnose technical issues quickly.
