Location: St. Louis Metropolitan Area (Travel Required)

Position Type: Part-Time

Pay: $18–$23 per hour

ABOUT THE ROLE

Black Men Read is seeking a motivated and organized Program Coordinator to help expand our impact

across the St. Louis area. This role is perfect for someone passionate about youth development,

literacy, and community engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Travel to multiple schools to support program delivery
• Coordinate with school administrators, volunteers, and leadership
• Recruit, manage, and support volunteers
• Build and maintain community and school partnerships
• Organize schedules, logistics, and program activities
• Ensure effective communication across all stakeholders

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Nonprofit experience (preferred, not required)
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Flexible schedule to meet program needs
