Position Summary:
The Clerical Worker position manages clerical tasks and supports administrative operations for the department. The responsibilities often include overseeing data entry, processing and maintaining records, managing communications, handling departmental documentation, and ensuring compliance with departmental policies. This position works closely with the Administrative Manager and department staff to ensure the timely completion of tasks, maintain accurate records, and support the department’s activities.
Hour of Work:
The normal workday consists of eight (8) consecutive hours (discounting an uninterrupted 30-minute meal period) beginning at 7:00 a.m. and ending at 3:30 p.m. Two rest periods of 15 minutes each are provided during the workday, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The normal workweek consists of five (5) consecutive eight (8)-hour days, Monday through Friday inclusive.

Education & Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience. Previous experience with data entry, office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite), and basic accounting and budget tracking is preferred.
