The State of New Hampshire, Department of Safety, Division of Administration, Financial Management and Planning Bureau has a full-time vacancy for a Financial Manager (Administrator II - 13-2010 ACCTS-AUDITORS-7).
Summary:
The Division Finance Specialist reports directly to the Bureau of Financial Management and Planning Bureau Chief and will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on financial performance and trends; assisting with procurement solicitation and contract development; developing, modifying, and implementing financial policies and procedures; monitoring revenues and appropriations and preparing forecasts; developing financial models for budgeting and forecasting
YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS: Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required workexperience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience OR equivalent combination of 10 years of education and experience after completion school. Education and experience must be in accounting, finance, or business management with experience in budget development financial planning.
Certification: Valid drivers license or access to transportation
Requirements: Must pass a fingerprint-based criminal background check and motor vehicle record check.
Option: Candidates with an equivalent combination of 9+ years of relevant education and experience after completion of high school may considered and hired in 'trainee status' for this position.
