We are known for our hands-on approach to PR, influencer marketing, community activations, and strategic brand visibility. This internship is designed to provide real-world experience across client campaigns, media outreach, and marketing coordination.

Position Overview

The PR & Client Services Assistant (Intern) will support the team across PR, marketing coordination, influencer support, and client deliverables. This is a support-focused role designed for someone eager to learn and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced agency environment.

You will assist with execution, organization, and coordination while working alongside the team on real client campaigns and projects.

Core Responsibilities

1. PR & Media Support

  • Assist in building and updating media lists
  • Support drafting:
  • Press releases
  • Pitch emails
  • Media advisories
  • Help track media placements and coverage
  • Assist with outreach follow-ups as directed
  • Support coordination of interviews and media opportunities

2. Marketing & Content Coordination

  • Assist in scheduling content shoots with photographers and videographers
  • Help coordinate logistics for content days
  • Support influencer visit coordination and scheduling
  • Assist with social media execution:
  • Responding to comments and messages (as assigned)
  • Reposting content across platforms and Facebook groups

3. Website & CRM Support

  • Assist in updating client websites:
  • Event listings
  • Directory updates
  • Support CRM organization and list updates
  • Help maintain accurate client data and systems

4. Campaign & Event Support

  • Assist with PR campaigns, launches, and activations
  • Support logistics for:
  • Media visits
  • Influencer events
  • Client activations
  • Help prepare materials and coordinate details as needed

5. Research & Growth Support

  • Conduct research on:
  • Local events
  • Media opportunities
  • Influencers and partnerships
  • Assist in gathering ideas for client visibility and engagement

  • Timely completion of assigned tasks

  • Responsiveness and communication with team
  • Accuracy in assigned work
  • Reliability in supporting team deadlines

Qualifications

  • Interest in public relations, marketing, communications, or social media
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and proactive
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with social media platforms
  • Experience with Canva, Monday, CRM systems, or media tools is a plus (not required)

A Day in the Life

No two days look exactly the same, but your work may include:

  • Assisting with media outreach and press materials
  • Coordinating details for content shoots or influencer visits
  • Helping support client campaigns and activations
  • Researching local events, media opportunities, and partnerships
  • Assisting with social engagement and community outreach
  • Supporting the team with ongoing client projects and deliverables

Growth Opportunity

Hours & Growth Opportunity

This is a part-time contractor role starting at 20 hours/week, with the opportunity to expand into 30–35 hours/week and/or a full-time position. As the agency grows, this role will evolve significantly.

4. Confidentiality Requirement

Pay: $26.00 per hour
