Location: Plainfield, IN
Pay Rate: $30.00 Hourly | Full-Time

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Equipment Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of warehouse and industrial equipment. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in mechanical systems, conveyors, warehouse equipment, or general facility maintenance who are looking to further develop their technical skillset in an industrial environment.

The Equipment Technician will assist with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse and industrial equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with repairs
• Inspect equipment and identify maintenance needs
• Replace worn or damaged parts (belts, rollers, bearings, hoses, filters, motors, etc.)
• Support maintenance of conveyors, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other facility equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures
• Complete maintenance logs and required documentation accurately
• Assist with larger repair and maintenance projects as needed
• Respond to equipment issues promptly to reduce downtime

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in maintenance, mechanical repair, warehouse equipment, or industrial environments preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment
• Experience with conveyors, warehouse systems, or industrial machinery preferred
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures
• Strong attendance, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
• Ability to work in warehouse or industrial environments
• Ability to safely work around moving mechanical equipment

Preferred Skills:

• Preventative maintenance experience
• Basic knowledge of motors, bearings, chains, and mechanical systems
• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial settings
• Strong problem-solving and mechanically inclined individuals encouraged to apply
