Salary Range: $65,000
FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Position Summary :
Under the direction of the Director of the Victim Advocacy and Services Unit (VASU) and the Oklahoma Domestic Violence Fatality Review Board (DVFRB) Program Manager (PM), the DVFRB Research and Training (R&T) Coordinator will be required to successfully implement the goals and objectives outlined in a two-year Byrne State Crisis Intervention Program (SCIP) grant program. This position will not extend beyond the term of its grant funding.
The R&T Coordinator will perform a range of duties including but not limited to developing a homicide database, collecting data using government and open-source resources, conducting technical and statistical research, and developing and deploying continuing education trainings for employees of the criminal justice system such as law enforcement peace officers, prosecutors, child welfare workers, victim advocates, and personnel from domestic violence and sexual assault (DV/SA) programs, adult human sex trafficking programs, and batterer's intervention programs. Trainings will focus on DV threat assessment best-practices and lessons drawn from previous domestic violence homicides identified by the DVFRB. This position will work directly with Oklahoma Attorney General (OAG) staff assigned to the OAG-based DVFRB.
Note: This position is funded through a 2-year Byrne SCIP grant and will not be extended beyond the grant period.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Minimum Qualifications :
A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of experience for each year of the required degree. Applicants must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Preference may be given to candidates who have experience in statistical research and software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel computer programs is necessary. Proven professional or academic track-records using one or more statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, STATA, R, Tableau, or Microsoft Power BI is required. Prior experience in training development and presentation is also strongly desired.
A valid driver’s license is required. All applicants must agree in writing to complete, and satisfactorily pass, a background investigation.
